  1. How many questions are in each quiz?

    There are 10 quiz questions which equates to 1.0 continuing education credit. Generally, you will receive one (1) credit for each course successfully completed. Successful completion is a score of 70% or better on the final exam.
    Our courses qualify for 60 minutes of education. Generally, 60 minutes of educational activity is equivalent to 1 AIA Learning Unit (LU), 1 Professional Development Unit (PDH), and 1 Continuing Educational Hour (CEH).

    Taking educatePROS online courses are:

    • Convenient - You can study the course materials and complete the quiz at your own pace in the comfort of your own home or office.
    • Efficient - You save a lot of time because you do not need to travel to the designated locations.
    • Economical - You save a lot of money because there are no traveling and lodging costs.
    • Beneficial - You benefit from the feedback of your peers which is incorporated into our courses periodically.

    In short, taking online courses is more convenient, more efficient, and more economical than attending seminars or conferences.

  3. What computer system and software do I need to view online courses?

    You need the following computer system and software to view online courses:

    • Computer: IBM PC or compatibles, Apple Mac
    • Operating System: Microsoft Windows 95/98/Me/XP/NT or Mac OS/OS X
    • Web Browser: Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0 or later, or Netscape 4.0 or later.

  4. Do I have another chance to take the quiz if I fail on the first attempt?

    Yes, you may take the quiz again until you pass (no additional charge within one year of purchase).

  5. Do I have to be online the entire time to take course?

    Yes.

  6. Do you share my contact information with anyone?

    educatePROS respects your personal privacy. We will not release your name, address, telephone number or email address to anyone except the course providers without your consent. The information we collect about you is required to process your orders and may be used to provide a more personalized experience.

  7. My professional organization requires proof of course completion. How do I get a certificate of completion?

    You can receive a certificate of completion one of three ways.

    1. At the end of the course, you'll find an online completion certificate. Print a copy of the certificate for your records.
    2. Send us an email after you complete your course. Include your "Name" and the "Course Title". We will email an electronic completion certificate to the email address in our database.
    3. If you prefer, a hardcopy of the completion certificate, send us your "Name" and the "Course Title" and we will mail a copy of your certificate to the mailing address in our database.

  8. Can I retake the same courses every year and receive continuing education credit?

    Yes, you can retake the same courses every year but you will NOT receive credit.

    The AIA, and most US states, require you wait 3 years to receive credit for a repeat program.

    However, if the sponsor modifies the program (at least 25%) and we change the program number, the course is available for credit. Before you take a course, review your educatePROS or AIA transcript to verify the course numbers.

    We review courses every year with the subject matter experts to assure the material is the most current. During reviews, we often make revisions. When we revise courses, we resubmit the new course to AIA and RCI for approval and post the course with a new course number.

  9. The testing applications will not open, why?

    If you are having trouble launching the testing application, please turn off any pop-up blocking applications.
